As we were staying 3 nights we were upgraded to 1 bedroom unit to give us some more room.
Motel is very tired and in need of refurbishment.Would be difficult if you did not have your own transport.

The unit was extremely dirty. Not just recent dirt, the rooms had not been cleaned properly for a very long time. It was so bad I took photographs to forward to the Qualmark authority. I will never use this motel again.

This resort provided many extras such as geothermally heated pool, restaurant, tennis courts, barbecue facilities, mini golf
The whole complex was very "tired" and in need of a huge upgrade.

The quietness at night; the size of the rooms; easy to find location
Annoyed that I was put into a 2bed unit and charged accordingly when I had booked a 1bed unit and unable to change as fully booked.

the pool was always clean and tidy. staff at the front desk were friendly
the resturant was very over priced and the quality and size of the meals were dissapointing. the visit to the resturant ruined the otherwise good stay we had. In relation to the question below we would recommend the hotel but not the resturant.

Yes, indeed. The cleanliness was very poor, the beds extremely soft (not recommended for those weighing more than 49kg). We felt like we had to clean the toilet before using it, and preferred to buy our own cuttlery and plates than to use the ones provided.

Photos of the accomodation and motel better than the actual accomodation so not much to say that was good.
We arrived at motel three of us booked only two towels in bathroom so we used our spare towels we brought from home and then they took the towels in the morning they took our personal towels and they were lost by them.No detergent in the bathroom shower for three days that we stayed.None of the tv remotes worked properly .And to top it off there were fish hooks on the floor and ended up stuck in my wifes jandals. So we are not very impressed with the Hotel.

Spacious rooms
Very run down, rooms not cleaned to a high standard, lots of mould. Pool very dirty so kids could not swim in it. The whole place has been let go which is a shame, was obviously very grand in its time.

The staff and management were very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel to anyone. A great place for children, and relaxing for adults.
The carpet has too many stains, especially at the front door area of room 26 and the curtains need upgrading but I do believe the hotel is on the market and will be spic and span when we come again I'm sure!!! Daily newspapers should be part of the cost of staying, delivered each morning.

Was central to all destinations, i.e., tourist attractions. restaurants, airport, shops. Reception were very obliging when requested if we could get our room earlier due to a family function at 2pm and allowed us to access it from 1pm. Was very much appreciated.
When I booked online I requested a ground floor studio as my mother was 85yrs old and has difficulty climbing stairs. Was disappointed to find that my request had not been granted but as we were only there for 1 night did not mention this although I was not happy as two other members of my family booked in a couple of days beforehand and were given a ground floor studio whereby I had booked a month ahead and should have had priority. The Studio had 1 Queen Bed and 1 Single Bed. 3 of us stayed there but we were only provided with 2 towels, cups & glasses.

Kerry was helpful in reception
we had booked two rooms via the internet and when we got to the hotel we were told that there wasnt a double room available so we were put into a spa suite, however the two kids had to bunk in the lounge area. One on a folder and the other on the sofa.

warmness, quietness, no traffic noise or other guests making noise. Plenty of space, very clean.
Frontdesk staff could of been a bit friendlier.

The heated swimming pool which was a big plus with kids in tow.
A little bit dated in the bathroom.
